As the pressure of the case builds, the unresolved history between the investigators threatens to tear the case apart from the inside.

He turns to the only person he can think of for help: his neighbor and former security guard, Ed Deerman (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Ed agrees to help, mostly to keep Simon from bothering him.
But the abduction wasn’t all in Simon’s head. And now the duo might just be in over their heads.
The Luckiest Man in America
Between 1982 and 1986, Press Your Luck entertained America as contestants answered trivia questions to earn chances to “spin” the gameboard to win cash and other prizes.
But in 1984, ice cream truck driver Michael Larson (Paul Walter Hauser) dazzled audiences and panicked producers as he accumulated an astounding 45 consecutive spins and racked up over $100,000.
