The holiday season is in full swing—decorations in every nook and cranny, presents under the tree, cookies stacked up on plates. It's a time full of cheer, and, most likely, a marathon of some holly jolly Christmas cartoons. But once the kids are tucked away in bed, it's time for something with a little more edge. And what's edgier than murder?
If you haven't seen Will Arnett's hilarious improv murder mystery show—the aptly named Murderville—then queue it up on Netflix immediately. Arnett plays down-on-his-luck detective Terry Seattle, doomed to spend every episode with a new partner. The catch is, his new partners are celebrity guests who are the only ones in the story without a script. It's up to these stars (greats from Conan O'Brien to the surprisingly hilarious Marshawn Lynch) to find out whodunnit.
This Christmas, the stakes are even higher with the 52-minute special Who Killed Santa? A Murderville Murder Mystery. Detective Seattle is running security at an event at city hall when the Santa-for-hire gets murdered in the middle of spreading cheer. Luckily he has the help of two new trainees—Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph—to help him suss out the killer. Plus, there's an especially chaotic guest in the special's final moments.
Investigate alongside the best detectives Murderville has to offer as Terry races to save Christmas for some classically adorable orphans. Be sure to buckle in for some raunchy, ridiculous, side-splitting laughs.
