An oldie but a goodie, The Long Kiss Goodnight stars Geena Davis as an assassin with amnesia. Ever since she woke up with no memory of her former life, Samantha Caine has become a devoted mother and schoolteacher.

But when she starts to remember, she hires a private detective (Samuel L. Jackson) to dig into her past, never imagining that she’d find out she’s a well-trained government assassin with enemies who will do anything to get their revenge.

Liam Neeson has “a very particular set of skills” in this, dare we say, classic action film.

When Bryan Mills’ daughter (Maggie Grace) travels to Europe and is abducted by human traffickers, the retired CIA agent brushes off his skills to hunt down her abductors and bring her home.

With a monologue that sends chills down your spine and plenty of creative violence, Taken is a fun action flick that still delivers.
