There’s only so many times you can be told you’d be prettier if you smiled before you start imagining very bad things. So, when I watch a movie about a woman who has had enough, I can’t help but cheer. And scream for more.
The latest in this type of movie is the recently released Hunt Club, starring Mena Suvari. Cassandra (Suvari) needs money. After losing her girlfriend and her daughter, she’ll do anything to get them back. When Carter (Casper Van Dien) offers her $100k to participate in a hunt, Cassandra doesn’t ask too many questions. But when she gets to the island, she and the other women who signed up are tied up, only to be released one at a time—as the hunted. Tired of being a victim, she teams with two other women to show that women are better at everything. Including hunting.
If the idea of women turning the tables on men is something you want more of, you’re in luck. Here are fourteen movies to binge when you’re in the mood for revenge.
