Based on the Darcey Bell novel of the same name, A Simple Favor came out in 2018 to delight audiences. With Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively in the leading roles, the gripping film was a massive success.

The story follows mommy vlogger Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) as she befriends the enigmatic upper-class Emily Nelson (Lively), who has a child at the same elementary school. When Emily suddenly goes missing, Stephanie decides to do her own investigating.

Her determination to help her friend leads her down a twisting path of dark secrets.

And luckily enough for us, there are more secrets waiting to be uncovered! The sequel film, Another Simple Favor, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime on May 1st.

In this film, Stephanie and Emily reunite before Emily's wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman. However, the happy occasion is interrupted by a murder.
