Get to know the people behind your favorite books.

Those of us obsessed with books and reading also love to get a peek behind the curtain. We’re fascinated by the humans who write the books we love—we want to know how they come up with their ideas, what their writing routine is like, and how they move through their process. Do they outline? Do they just sit down at their writing desk and see what happens? Do they drink coffee, tea, or something else entirely? Author interviews are where we find out the answer to these questions—and more.

Maybe you’re curious about an author you’ve never read before. One great place to start is by reading an interview with them to get a sense of their style, interests, and philosophy. Or perhaps you’ve got a favorite author and reading their books isn’t enough—you want to learn as much as you can about them.
